International Ice Hockey Federation Officiating Development Manager
Lee and I have known each other now for 3 years since we first connected about doing a project using eye tracking, initially with the Swedish Ice Hockey federation as that is where I worked at the time. The idea was very much the same as what was eventually done, although the final approach was on a bigger scale than initially planned and that is a fantastic thing. We have collaborated over the three years to get this project moving and this has included many meetings, presentations and phone calls. One thing that has always been clear is that Lee is passionate, knowledgeable, and a clear communicator in a variety of settings and with different levels of people.
BSc, MSc, FHEA - Chief Operating Officer, Author
I worked alongside Lee for over 12 years in various capacities, both academic and field-based. During this time we have collaborated in working with many students, athletes, coaches and referees on such topics as decision-making, emotional regulation and other psychological workshops / interventions. I have personally witnessed and indeed experienced nothing but exemplary execution of said workshops and field work, but also exemplary growth in Lee as a practitioner.
Founder and CEO of Andre Burger Cricket
I have had the pleasure of working with Lee at Clear Waters Sports Vision for the past year, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. As a cricket coach, understanding the nuances of the game is essential, and vision plays a crucial role that often goes overlooked. That changed for me when I had the opportunity to consult with Lee. Lee's depth of knowledge in sports vision is unparalleled and has completely transformed how I approach coaching Sports Vision.
Director of Sport Benenden School
The session was absolutely fantastic.
Senior Sport and Exercise Psychology Lecturer and Expert in Decision Making
I have known Lee for more than 7 years. Lee is currently working on his PhD and I am his supervisor. In addition, Lee is a Senior Lecturer and we collaborated on teaching, research, and applied work. In the consulting and applied domain, Lee has adapted the scientist-practitioner approach in his applied work with athletes and performers. Working in a systematic and evidence-based manner, building strong rapport with clients, and using various measures to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions.
Tobii Account Manager
There are a couple of people like Lee in the world…but I haven't met them yet. Extremely social, understanding, and his level of professionalism is through the roof. If there’s a challenge, you know Lee’s involved in solving it.
Senior Lecturer in Rider Performance, Hartpury University, Gloucestershire U.K
Lee visited Hartpury in February 2024 to present the Half-Day Workshop to our 2nd & 3rd year university students studying Equestrian Sports Science & Equestrian Sports Coaching and didn't disappoint! The session was engaging and well-structured, with lots of opportunities for staff & students to ask questions and see the eye tracking technology live in action.
“This training is so cool, I have never seen anything like it and when you think about it it’s so logical to think in this way. I have never trained my eyes before, never even thought about doing so. Until wearing the eye tracker and reviewing what I do over the jumps and round the course. It showed me things I didn’t realise I did and I look forward to working on this even more as it has already helped me with my riding”
“I didn’t even realise this was a thing but it makes so much sense. I enjoy doing my exercises and it has forced me to reflect more on the processes I take which has improved my performance”
“It’s unlike any type of training I have had before and wish it had come in when I was younger”
Using the eye tracker & strobe glasses forced me to start thinking about what information I actually use and I really feel more confident to make quick decisions
“I found the training fun and rewarding…when I didn't mess up”
“Being honest I couldn't see to start with when I wore the strobe goggles, but it really made me think about what I look at when making decisions and now it almost feels like a super power”
